BESCREIBUNG:
Orosei is located between the sea and the Tuttavista Mountains, on the inner edge of the alluvian plain formed by the estuary of the Cedrino River. Its appearance is suggestive, with its old white washed house, archways that link narrow streets, and beautiful churches, especially the San Antonio Abate Country Church protected by an ancient Pisan watch tower.
The San Giacomo Maggiore Church, built between the the 17th and 18th centuryies, is also interesting.
The surrounding countryside has a wealth of tourist attractions and nature sights. Upon the Tuttavista Mountain (a limestone peak detached from the nearby Supramonte), the remains of holm oak forests can still be observed.
To the south lie the Orosei Marina and the Cedrino Pond, very important for the birds that inhabit them. And even in the most crowded periods of the year, the Osalla Beach, 5 Kilometers long, is a secluded place.
Beaches: Marina di Orosei: three kilometres from the village. Fuile Mare beach: seven kilometres far. Cala Liberotto: twelve kilometres far.
